Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
Cargo Public School does not currently operate a canteen.
Arrangements have been made with the Cargo Store to provide healthy menu choices for ordered lunches on Monday and Fridays.
Please place your order with the shop and pay for this prior to school. Have your child advise the school staff that they have placed a lunch order. Staff will collect lunches only if we know their is any.
Contact the school for the current arrangements for ordered lunches if your unsure.
SRE
We offer a 30 min lesson on religious education with Mr Arthur Gilmour of the Christian Community Churches Australia.
This is supported by the Christian Community Chirches of Australia
With SRE teachers from local churches, students ask questions, explore the bible and discover the GHood News of Jesus Christ and what it means to be a Christian in our world today. Lessons are age appropriate, fun and inclusive.
Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.
CARGO UNIFORM ORDERS
Cargo offer very affordable uniform items at the school.
Please complete the uniform order sheet and return to the school office along with payment.
Items will then be packaged and sent home with your child or ordered if necessary.

Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
