Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

School Assemblies

Our school assemblies are held twice a term, in Week 5 and Week 10, on Thursdays at 2:30 PM in the school library. These assemblies celebrate the achievements and efforts of our students, recognise special events and milestones, and provide an opportunity for the whole school community to come together. They also serve to share important announcements, showcase student talents, and promote our school values of respect, learning, and community spirit.

Families and community are invited to attend.

Clean Up Australia Day: Taking Action for Our Environment

Our school community proudly rolled up their sleeves for Clean Up Australia Day, joining thousands across the nation to make a positive impact. Armed with gloves and bags, students, staff and families worked together to tidy our school grounds and local areas, collecting rubbish and recycling materials to help keep our environment pristine.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about caring for our planet, teamwork, and environmental responsibility. The day sparked important conversations about sustainability and sparked enthusiasm to keep our surroundings clean every day.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made a difference. Together, we are creating a greener, healthier future!

NAIDOC Week: Honouring Culture and Learning Together

Our school proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week with enriching activities that recognised and respected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and achievements. This year, students took part in a memorable excursion to the museum, where they engaged in special lessons and meetings focused on Indigenous heritage.

The trip offered everyone a chance to deepen their understanding through hands-on experiences, interactive exhibits, and meaningful conversations. Together, we explored stories and traditions, fostering respect, connection, and a sense of shared history within our school community.

NAIDOC Week continues to inspire us all to celebrate, learn, and grow. We thank our staff, families, and community partners for supporting these important occasions and look forward to continuing our journey of cultural learning.

From Garden to Plate: Enjoying Our Homegrown Harvest

Our school gardens are bursting with life, thanks to the dedication of our students and staff. This season, we’ve been delighted to harvest juicy watermelons and a variety of vibrant vegetables, turning our hard work into healthy, delicious meals.

Students have loved getting hands-on—planting, tending, and harvesting the crops, then sharing the excitement of tasting what they’ve grown. From crisp salads to sweet watermelon slices, every bite is a celebration of learning, teamwork, and sustainability.

We are so proud of our thriving gardens and the joy they bring to our school family. Keep an eye out for more stories as we continue to nurture and savour the fresh flavours of our homegrown produce!

Celebrating Mother's Day with Love and Bloom

With the wonderful support of our amazing school family - Crawfords, we created a heartfelt celebration for all our mums this Mother's Day. Together with their children, every mum had the delightful opportunity to craft her own beautiful bouquet, making memories as unique and vibrant as the flowers themselves.

The day blossomed beautifully with a delicious afternoon tea, filled with laughter, joy, and the warmth of community spirit. A heartfelt thank you to the Crawfords and Laura Langham from Cargo Flower Farm for their generous support and for helping us bring this special celebration to life.

Stay tuned for more unforgettable moments as we continue to celebrate our school family and the bonds that make our community so special!
