Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

“I’m excited to welcome you to our school, where we believe every child is unique and deserves a learning experience that celebrates their individuality. Our dedicated team is passionate about creating a supportive environment where students can grow, explore, and succeed at their own pace.

We pride ourselves on hands-on learning—from tending our vegetable garden and caring for our chickens to engaging in dynamic art and cultural activities. These experiences not only build essential skills but also inspire a deep connection to our community and the world around us.

We are also proud of our strong partnerships with families and neighbouring small schools. Together, we create a welcoming, vibrant community that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Thank you for considering Cargo School. I look forward to welcoming you and your family and partnering in your child’s educational journey.”

Peter Chase,  Principal of Cargo Public School
