At Cargo Public School, our vibrant music program sparks creativity and talent through a variety of instruments—including ukuleles, guitars, keyboards, marimbas, recorders, and drums—as well as group singing. Enriched by resources from the Orange Regional Conservatorium, students regularly showcase their skills in concerts and OSSA performances, as well as school assemblies, building confidence and a lifelong love of music.

At Cargo Public School, our library is a vibrant and welcoming hub that sparks a love of reading and learning. With a diverse collection of books and digital resources, it supports literacy and curiosity across all year levels. At Cargo Public School, our vegetable garden, orchard, and chooks provide immersive outdoor learning that connects students with nature and sustainability. Caring for chooks and collecting fresh eggs teach responsibility and animal care, while growing and harvesting fresh produce fosters curiosity and life skills. Surplus harvest is shared with families, strengthening community bonds. These hands-on experiences enrich learning and nurture a lasting connection to the environment.

School Bus Service

Cargo Public School proudly provides a 25-seater school bus, offering safe, reliable transport for students to and from excursions and events with neighbouring schools. This service enhances community connections and ensures every student can fully participate in all school experiences.

At Cargo Public School, our play equipment is designed to develop essential motor skills through fun and challenging activities. Climbing frames, swings, and balance beams help students improve coordination, balance, strength, and agility. Beyond physical fitness, these play opportunities boost confidence, social skills, and overall wellbeing, laying a strong foundation for healthy growth and learning.
